Every street has a varied quality. There is a path that is smooth, bumpy, even with holes. If conditions are bright, easy to supervise road course with the hole. But what if the heavy rain accompanied by strong winds?
Some of these tips may be useful for you.
First, check your vehicle's tires regularly. Keep the air pressure in the tires as recommended. The size of the right air pressure is determined by the vehicle manufacturer. Usually the size of the pressure can be seen on the back side of the door, behind the glove box or fuel tank cap.
Check your tire air pressure at least once a month. Then check also the depth of the groove. Sufficient depth to avoid the car skid (slip) or floating on the water (aquaplaning).
Second, reduce the speed. At the time of rain, the water mixes with oil on the surface of the road and make a slippery road surface and tire easily slip. The best way to avoid a slip is to reduce speed.
Third, learn how to overcome the slip. It can happen, even to the driver who had to be careful though. If your car started to skid, do not ever step out your brakes, especially for cars equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS). Instead, press with a definite and direct steering in the direction of slip car.
Fourth, keep a distance with the car in front. Driving in wet weather requires a subtle way of using the control wheel, pedals clutch, brake and gas. When you are traveling in wet weather, maybe your shoes are too wet and can be slipped off the pedal.
Each driver is also required to check the headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signal on (turn signal), so that everything is functioning properly.
On a wet road braking distance also takes three times longer than on dry roads. So keep a distance of at least two car lengths between you and the car in front.
Fifth, turn on headlights, although rain is not too heavy. These lights not only help you see the road but also help other drivers see you. If your car is equipped daytime running lights, quicken so vehicles behind you can see you better.
Sixth, the rain will burden the glass wiper (wiper), so the windshield is always covered with water. When the outlook is very limited, it's a sign you should step aside and stop until the rain stopped.
Finally, the early rain made roads very slippery. When the rain had just come down, usually the path becomes very difficult to master, because the mud and oil on a dry road is now mixed with water and form a layer that is very slippery.
Control of the car will be reduced, therefore the driver must be careful during the first half hour after it began to rain.
